Layoffs, Stadia’s sunset and Avengers disassembled | Kaser Focus
What happened to Stadia and the Avengers?
It’s been a tough few weeks for us Stadia and Avengers fans. It looks like both companies are about to sunset their products and it’s leaving us wondering what exactly is going on. Let’s take a look at what has happened and how it could affect the future.

Stadia
It was the streaming service that promised to revolutionize the gaming industry. But it looks like Google’s Stadia may have gone the way of many other failed Google products – it’s over. Google recently announced that they are shutting down Stadia’s consumer-facing services.
They plan to continue supporting the platform for developers, but there’s no telling what the future holds. It’s a sad day for us gaming fans, but hopefully Google will find another avenue to get us our gaming fix.
The Avengers Disassembled
It was the franchise that dominated the box office. But even the mighty Avengers couldn’t withstand the way the world has changed in 2020. Marvel recently announced that the Avengers franchise will be “disassembled”.
What this means for us fans is unclear. It could mean the end of the Avengers as we know it, or it could just be an indefinite pause. One thing is for certain though – it’s a sad day for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Layoffs
While there is still some hope for Stadia and the Avengers, the effects of the pandemic are being felt across the world. Many companies have had to make the difficult decision to reduce their workforce.
It’s heartbreaking to see employees who have put so much time and effort into their job lose their livelihood. We can only hope that those affected will be able to bounce back quickly.
Looking ahead
It’s hard to find positivity in these difficult times, but there are still reasons to be hopeful. After all, Stadia might just rise from the ashes and the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be bigger than ever.
In the meantime, we can take comfort in the fact that everyone is vulnerable in this situation and no company is immune to the effects of the pandemic. We just have to remember to stay positive and keep looking for ways to make the world a better place.
It’s been a tough few weeks, but hopefully things will look up soon.
