The Magical Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 Headphones
Have you got your eye on the latest headphones from Bowers and Wilkins? I was lucky enough to test them out (I know, it’s a tough life being a tech reviewer) and here’s what I found.

Sounding Amazingly Good
These headphones offer an incredibly smooth and detailed sound. They use a cutting-edge aptX adaptive audio codec, along with a pair of custom-made drive units, to provide crystal-clear highs and warm mids. I thought the sound was an absolute treat to listen to, and could get lost in a whole playlist without adjusting the settings.
Average Active Noise Cancellation
Sadly, the active noise cancelling (ANC) isn’t great. You can still hear background sounds even with the ANC turned on, so it’s not suitable for noisy environments. That said, they’re still usable if you need to eliminate some of the annoying humdrum of life.
My Recommendation
To sum up, the Bowers and Wilkins Pi7 S2 headphones offer awesome sound quality with average ANC. If you want great sound quality, but don’t need outstanding noise cancellation, then these are a great buy. Here are some of the pros and cons of these headphones:
- Pros: Amazing sound quality, Comfortable fit, Bluetooth aptX
- Cons: Average ANC, Expensive
So, if you’re looking for a pair of headphones that has high-quality sound and don’t mind the lack of excellent ANC, these are certainly worth considering. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some great tunes to listen to!
