Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 review: Awesome sound, average ANC
The Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2: Well Worth the Gold Award
If you’re looking for class-leading sound quality, you’d best be looking to Bowers & Wilkins for the latest and greatest in wireless headphones. The Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 are the latest in their award-winning lineup – and it’s easy to see why they won the Gold Addy Award for sound.

Stunning Sound Quality
The Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 sound absolutely stunning. Whether you’re listening to your favorite hip-hop tracks or classical music, the sound quality is top-notch.
The bass is tight with punchy kick-drums, and the mids and highs are wonderfully defined and clear, making it a joy to listen to whatever genre you’re in the mood for.
The Pi7 S2 also feature four separate drivers and a special “sonic-boosting” amplifier so every complex string and vocal quivering is accurately reproduced. The overall result is an incredibly immersive sound…you may find yourself forgetting the outside world entirely with these on!
Average Active Noise Cancellation
While the sound quality of the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 may be off the charts, the same unfortunately cannot be said for their Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
ANC is decent, but nothing particularly impressive. Compared to other headphones in the same price range, the ANC is average – it’ll block out some sound from the outside world but if you’re looking for complete sound isolation, you may want to look elsewhere.
Final Verdict
Overall, the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 are an impressive set of headphones. While the ANC may be a bit lacklustre, the sound quality more than makes up for it.
If you’re looking for seriously good sound quality with a twist of fun, then look no further than the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2. It may have won the Gold Addy Award, but we’re giving it two gold stars and a pat on the back!
