Xbox adds privacy world to Minecraft Education for Safer Internet Day
Giving Children a Safe Place in Their Minecraft Education
For Safer Internet Day, Xbox wanted to make sure that children everywhere had a safe refuge inside their Minecraft Education – and so, they added an awesome privacy world!

A Creative, Fun Escape
The new privacy world is a place where kids can be themselves and create whatever they please, while being protected from any nastiness that might have been occurring in their other more public worlds. That’s right, no griefing allowed in this Minecraft Edu paradise!
A Haven of Safety & Fun
The added privacy world allows children to chat and build away in their own little corner of Minecraft Education, free from the judgement and trolling of other players. It’s like a little Minecraft playground, designed specifically for our most vulnerable players.
Features to Assist in Fun
This is no boring default Minecraft world either; Xbox made sure to add some fun things to help the creative process. Here’s some of the awesome additions you’ll find in the new privacy world:
- Protected Environment – No trolling or griefing allowed!
- Fun Environments – Colourful blocks, grassy areas and more!
- Chat Protection – Censors reveal themselves automatically when they’re triggered.
- World Builder Tool – Fun and easy to use world builder tool so kids can truly express themselves.
A Fun Place for Everyone
Xbox’s new privacy world is a great addition to the Minecraft Education environment, and a place where children can freely express themselves, without fear of being judged. Kids everywhere are now able to find refuge in this protected little world, which brings a wide smile to parents everywhere.
So, a big thanks to Xbox for this fun and safe addition and for caring about our kiddos!
